We normally have three or four concerts each season: in November, a Christmas concert in December, March/April and June.

In November 2018  the concert was in the King’s Hall on Saturday 24 November with a programme including Durufle’s Requiem and MacMillan’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis.

Our Christmas concert was held in Jesmond United Reformed Church at 7.30pm on  Thursday 13 December.

In recent years we have performed our March/April concert in  Sage Gateshead and in 2017 this took place on  Saturday 18 March. In 2018 we performed Messiah in Sage One but a little earlier than usual - Saturday 24 February at 7.30pm.

The summer concert is often in another venue by arrangement but in 2018 this took place in Sage One,  on Sunday 3 June at 3pm, when the choir was joined by friends from Gelsenkirchen to sing Elijah.

If you are unable to attend a pre-concert rehearsal please let the concert manager know so that a space can be saved for you.

Ticket Sales

Tickets sales are our main source of income, and it is important that members sell as many tickets as they can. These are available from the line reps and from the Tickets page of this site (except for performances in Sage Gateshead when Sage will deal with all ticket sales).
